During  the National Conference & Exposition in San Diego, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced the launch of the AAP’s new early literacy toolkit for pediatricians and parents.The Books Build Connections Toolkit was emailed out to the AAP’s 62,000 members on Sunday evening.

We are pleased to have collaborated with the AAP and Too Small to Fail to provide key resources, links, and photos that are included in the toolkit.

Please feel free to integrate messaging about the toolkit into your normal communications channels – email blast, newsletter, social media, etc. This is just another incredible step forward in our work to ensure that ALL families nationwide receive books and messaging about the importance of reading aloud from their medical providers.
